Red Light Near Auto Gear Selector 99
 

Theres this little red light that turned on there my gear selector on my 99 mustang... should I be worried or is this just some anti theft think where the bulb was looser or something......

is the car used?...it may have been an alarm LED

Yeah, that's aftermarket. I have no idea what it is, either. I've never seen it before.

hmm, thats weird, you should contact the person or dealer you bought it from and ask wtf it is.

I had an alarm installed on my car and is has a LED light in somewhat of the same location. Mines a 5 speed if that matters.
