Default throttle body spacers...

what do you guys think about throttle body spacers? what i'm looking for is maybe a little power increace (if any), but also some increaced gas milage. this will help somewhat, right? i mean i'm taking my intake apart next week anyways so while i'm there i figure i might as well go with it haha.

i'm thinking about ordering from: http://wheelskin.com/spe-38015.html
haha but i call bullsh!t on here says a 20 hp gain from this spacer kit. haha ok...

I think they actually take away power when you don't have a ported and matched intake.

They are suppose to give you a horse or two because of the added length. I have one on my car and I don't think that they do much as far as horse, if any, but I can say they are adecent buy because of the length after the throttle body, which gives you a little bitmoreresponse when you hit the gas. That's what I'm thinking. So if you order a kit that comes with it no biggy, but if you're wanting to buy it by itself it doesn't do much.

one of my buddies has one on his sixer, he says it doesnt really make much of a diff. Just made it harder to fit the CAI. But he said he likes the whistle of it while cruising.

Most tb spacers and carb spacers are a waste of money and actually cut your low end power a little.
