v6 supercharged
get a vortech 8spi supercharger kit. then get the www.velocitymustang.com front mount intercooler. first i would go with MAC longtubes, MAC h-pipe and MAC cat-back. you should run low 14s with that combo.
get an 11psi intercooled procharger kit! alot cheaper then the vortech and it already has an intercooler. depending on how much power you intend to make just a good dual exhaust will work fine no need to swap out you stokc manifolds but if you want hard core power then longtubes are the way to go i wouldnt recomend mac's just because they rust but they are the only company i have seen that makes lt's for the v6. dont forget you will need fuel system upgrades and a good dyno tune to get your car runnin properly dont use and off the shelf chip!!!! other then that it all depends on what you goal for the car is
the procharger kits do not come with everything you need to hook them up especially the tuner kits (11PSI kits). the vortech kit comes with everything except the intercooler. it is also cheaper to maintain. i plan on putting 350+ rwhp when i get the vortech kit w/o the intercooler. anyways, ford recommends vortech. that is a pretty good reccomendation in my opinion.
Well I got 83 stang 3.8L V6 carbed, I put on a 8psi of output outta my old school paxton S/C I am running 230 rwhp, I had to mod a few things with a new alt / bracket / hoses / clamps. But I got it all together, Ive had it on for close to 1 year now, Now problems. If you got a new stang better off with getting a proper kit with all the parts you need.
Good Luck.
Good Luck.
vortechy kits that ive seen dont come with a maf, injectors, etc they come wit a pos t-rex fuel pump tho that is louder then most after market exhausts if you buy a vortech cuz it come wit a fuel pump you are a moron! the benifits of the intercooler and the price differnce alone make buying the procharger a no brainer!!!
