svo?? yay or nay??
I say get it, the price is a tad high, but a good find none the less. The 2.3L Turbos were much faster, but that one can be made just as fast, or much quicker with a quick pulley swap.
Reason I say the price is a tad high is because: "It's a freeking old *** car!!!!!" It may look good, but you can't see how good the shocks are, the tranny, the rear end, the electrical wireing, the internals of the engine, all of which can go out at a moments notice, and aren't exactly cheap to fix.
Also, sorry Jess, those things were pretty quick, but they are not faster than the 5.0s, in fact, the SVOs were much slower than their 5.0L counterpart, not to mention comparing them to the much faster 5.0s of 87-95. The 2.3L Turbo was a little closer, but still slower. And yes, there is an SVO Turbo, "AND" a Ford 2.3L Turbo GT Mustang.

The SVO's are better than the GT's. They have better weight distribution, almost perfect 50/50 weight split. THey pump 15psi STOCK. And it already has a Garett T-3. With a boost controller and a nice intercooler, itll smoke every GT itll come across, get better milage, and still be UNIQUE! Not to mentioon its 4whl disc and 5lug.
