i decided i am going to buy 3.45s for my twin's and i was wondering could something be wrong with the gears, the guy said they were brand new never installed but they have been in storage for a couple years? also if someone wants my brand new frpp 3.73s shoot me an offer

you can afford twin turbos, to ceramic coat them, and to switch gears, but you don't find it wise at all to upgrade the rear end to an 8.8?

what LSD are you running?

 

a detroit in the 7.5 and girdle is far stronger than a stock 8.8. and will hold 500ftlbs+. 99.9% of V6ers will never break a 7.5 with a detroit and TA girdle. alloy axles will also add some strength

 

what cobra said is exactly what i have, true trac and ta girdle

 

i asked a while ago and i had faith in cobra so i beefed up the 7.5 plus trying to find a 8.8 around here would be hopeless

 

if anybody thinks they can easily break this truetrac before a stock 8.8 they are nuts
