I have to concur with most of the people here, MAC LT's are the best thing to get. I got mine pretty cheap since I used to havea MAC account at my old shop.

Get the ceramic coated ones though, it's worth the $100 extra. Keeps the engine bay cooler and holds up better than the paint they normally use.

The shorties flow are just like the stock manifolds. The LT's are better and will result in more gains than the shorties. id say ~7-8 rwhp

on GTs, gains are def better. anyway shorties will help also, and they are usually direct fit. from most of the things i've read/heard, LTs will give you a better sound, but not really more performance. If someone wants to give me a dyno graph i'll be glad to say otherwise but i've always heard shorties are for power, LTs for sound. Basically, what happens is with the stock manifolds, the exhaust from the back cylinders are fighthing the exhaust from the front cylinders to get into the manifold causing backpressure, with actual headers, LTs or shorties, each cylinder dumps its exhaust in the same direction at the same place, thus lowering back-pressure.
