Default Problems with Gears...

Two months ago I put gears and posi in my car and about a month ago I started to hear a loud winding noise whenever I let off the acceleration... Now I know I will be hearing this, its just slowing down by its self, but this is an intense winding noise, so I brought it to the shop and he said it was a possible gear set problem or pinion bearings problem... Well, it ended up being the pinion bearings so he said it would cost about $800-$1000 labor/items... but it would cost me nothing but my time. Since I live about 60 miles from the shop and I have to go to school, I have to drive around a Chrysler Sebring [:@] for about a week or something while the parts get in. O well, its not gonna stop me, I'm still goin out Friday pickin up chicks in my grandma car! Sorry, just had to vent.

Yeah that does happen sometimes. That's one of those issues that regardless of how good the installation was, something didn't mesh properly. It sucks when stuff like that happens. At least the shop is taking care of it though and standing behind their work.
