Default Screamin' Deamon coil installed.

Well i was suspended from work today, so i figured id do some work on the car. I got the stangwires from AB and the coil from v6mustang. After reading some reveiws and tests from 3.8mustang and v6power. i figured id try em out.

They almost look identical to eachother from the stock coil pack to the deamon one. but u can notice some subtle differences, one the terminals inside, one is gold the other is steel. Might conduct better. But aside from looks, what i did was when the car was running i just pulled out one of the boots from the wires and on the deamon coil the spark would jump about twice the distance! There is still snow on the ground, but ill try to get a performance reveiw shortly when i can get the car out. heres some pix:

Well its more of an intense spark, , though i havent replaced the spark plugsyet i want to shortly cuz u can open them up to .065" which will allow even more of a spark, i thought i did feel a lil smoother at idle, also somewhat of a throttle response. i dunno if its wishfull thinkin or what.

theres the description: Mustang V6 owners can now increase the spark intensity of the 3.8 liter ignition by installing Performance Distributors' new Screamin' Demon Coil! This is the first high performance coil available for the 2001-2004 Mustang V6 engines. The Screamin' Demon Coil is designed to produce a longer duration spark and allow plug gaps to be opened up to an astounding .060" - .065". This will burn the fuel mixture more efficiently for increased performance and better fuel mileage. This will also help spark plugs stay cleaner longer. In addition, the intensity of the Screamin' Demon's spark does not drop off as the rpm's increase, which is common with stock ignition systems. In a series of 0-60 mph tests, we improved our E.T. an average of .33 seconds over the stock ignition coil! That's performance you can feel in the seat of your Mustang V6! The Screamin' Demon Coil is epoxy filled, leading to improved heat transfer and vibration resistance. The Screamin' Demon Coil is easy to install and mounts in the original equipment location

ok quick update, the car Does have more of a throtlle response, it is noticable. However, it made my check engine light come on? Any ideas?

Would this be normal as it is more of a spark and the scensor is just picking something out of the norm?

update: i unplugged the battery for a while, it reset the ECU and theSES light turned off. Don't know what made it trip like that...~

It'll prolly come back on. I did that when my spark plug went out, and the light came back on about 5 minutes down the road.
