how far apart should i make my racing stripes? i was thinkin 3" but i dont know. pics would help. (no imm not doing putting them on)

 

mine r 8" wide and 2" apart, but i painted mine

 

How wide are they? Usually 2 or 3 inches apart is good.

 

mine are 8" wide i might go 2" his looks pretty good. another question, should i go over the spoiler or under it? there gettin put on this week.

Most I've seen wrap around the spoiler plus go under it so both the spoiler and deck have stipes.

 

Are you just going with two stripes? I think that's too common.

I like two stripes with a pin stripe on the outsides, or super stripes from Baltimorestreetmods.com

 

I think you should go with what you think looks good... there are to many people who are bias to their own design. I rarely see any mustangs with stripes in my neck of the woods. Ive seen one with flame vinyls... i wanted to shoot this lady... she works at mcdonalds.. she riced her stang (with platic chrome rims to boot) and she sucks at taking orders because she doesnt speak/understand english... I told her to supersize my meal damnit...

 

Personally I don't even like stripes on sn95 and new edge Stangs. The bodies just don't fit them, unless it's the single black stripe like the Mach 1's.

 

When it comes to styling a car, its all about personal preference.. if u want stripes get stripes. It also helps if u have the right color combo.
