frist first, take the insert off, there is a clip at the top, middle, and a hook at the bottom.
first, give yourself some room to work in there by using your fingers, then get your old friend mr. Screw driver and carefully pop the front three outfirst, doing one side of the clip at a time. then the rear 3 are easy.
you might break the front flap trying to get yourfingers or screwdriver down in there, but as long as its not torn off you should be alright.
once you see the clips, you'll know what to do.

you dont need any special tools. you just pull it off. thats what the guy did in that write up you posted. thats also what i did when i took mine off. just start at one end of it and carefully pull. it will take a little force.
I dont, im tellin the man what I used. And if the post was read, u would see that i put "This is to show you where the rivets are." If you used your fingers and broke it, do what u gotta do. Im tellin him my experience in this. Either way will work.
