Default CLUTCH PROBLEM?

HEY GUYS I NEED SOME ADVICE. I HAVE AN 01 MUSTANG AND TWICE IT HAS STALLED OUT WHILE I HAVE MY FOOT IN ON THE CLUTCH AS FAR AS IT WILL GO. ALSO, EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE IT FEELS LIKE THE CLUTCH WON'T PUSH IN AS FAR AS IT SHOULD GO, I CAN STILL SHIFT BUT IT DOESN'T FEEL QUITE RIGHT.

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

i doubt itll do much, but theres a trick with these clutch pedals. pull up on the pedal until you hear a click, then push down on it (with your foot) and move your foot to the side so it can immediately retract. there is a ratcheting mechanism that allows you to tighten the clutch cable like this. like i said i doubt itll do much, but its still probably good to know. this should make the point of engagement higher up in the travel of the clutch pedal

you can do it a few times, but i think the most youll usually get is around 5 or 6 clicks up
