Default Gt Spoiler Install

So i'm getting a 2001 black gt spoiler (factory). I'm not 100% sure, butwill thisa fit a 2000 mustang?I'm not sure if the hole placement is different, from the base modelspoiler. Will I have to drill new holes? Will any holes be exposed? I'll tell yah there's just something about that Gt spoiler. I've seen a couple v6 stangs with that spoiler. Sexy as f***!! Also does anyone know how much it would costs to justs paint this spoiler?

And if thereis a detailed guide anywhere that tells you how to install these, would you please direct me to it

lol sorry. Big noob here. I'm getting the hang of this mustang stuff though. You guys have been a great help!!

Thanks Again!!

I think it should just bolt right up, I'm not sure though. But dude, since your car is silver I would leave it black. That would look damn good....well, if you have other black accents that is.

Ya, I might have to try it out. I'm getting black rocker panel stripes put on, as soon as it warms up. But it mightbe to much rice, lol.

Naw that won't look ricey. The old Mach 1 sure didn't look ricey with it's black spoilers and hood scoop. You can always put on a 6' aluminum wing if you want the rice look...lol

Ight man, so I was reading this:
http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/fcar/wingmod1.htm
And they did it on GT's. They didn't say anything about it being different on a sixer spoiler, so I'm willing to bet they bolt up the same.

Whoa! Good find. That pretty much sums it all up. They'll just have to line up. Thanks man!

if u have a 2000 that gt two post spoiler will not bolt right up, u will have to drill new holes and three u will have six holes to fill and paint or cap off. This is all true if u have the same spoiler as mine which is also a 2000. a body shop will prob charge u 100-200 to paint the spoiler but the black is gonna look sick
