Default ***REMOVING ANTENNA***

can anyone give me steps order to remove the antenna from the car?
please thanks in advance!!!

wrap a cloth around the base of the antenna then put a pair of channel locks on the rag and unscrew it... wallah its off !!!

exactly^^ make sure to wrap the cloth more than a single layer too but if u scratch it just paint it again

or do it the right way and get a wrench thats the same size as the base, closed end or open end wrench and just uncrew it that way. that or buy an antenna removal wrench, made outa plastic so it doesnt scratch anything.

I keep mine loose enough you dont need a wrench, finger strength will work.

why would u unscrew your antenna
Perhaps he is converting to a shorty antenna, or putting a car cover on it...

^^^ I almost did that with my shorty anntenae until my buddy got his stolen off of his GT. Now I keep mine on screwed on with a little thread-locking adhesive. People these days... [:'(]

Who the hell would steal an antenna? Pathetic people...damn, ill have to make sure my valvestem caps are on tight, someone might steal them...

mine came off by hand...i just removed mine altogether...the little stump doesn't bother me and i don't listen to the radio so it is all good
