I'm installing a remote start and need to know hot to remove the top part of the steering cover. It's overed by the key slot and I can't figure out how to remove the key hole/cover to remove the top cover by the steering wheel. I'm at the shop now getting it installed and need help. Thanks in advance.

 

There's a small checkball holding the lock cylinder into the steering column. There's a small hole in the bottom section of the column shroud. Turn the key to the on position, take a straight pick and push that ball up. While holding it up, pull on the lock cylinder. Out she comes. When you put it back in, just slip the cylinder back into its bore, and then turn the key off.
