Default Need advice,$2000 issue (electrical?)

Bought a 94~3.8 for cheap all was fine just a few glitches,(i said this in a previouse post, just a note of where i am at)

electrical issues, the electric seat the dome light , the lighter do not work and stereo will not hold time or stations after restart.

Soooo I start yanking and checking fuses. all looked good (??????) start car and check engine light is on
car idles rough..

maybe i forgot to plug a fuse in or it just became faulty when I pulled it ?

and , maybe I just didnt check the right one and all that stuff is on the same fuse?

anyone have any idea?

a photo with red circles would be very much apreciated ! :-D

well the seat going out is a ford thing... ive had friends with gt's and cobras and they have went out as far as the dome light probably a short or a fuse(i know u said u checked)...lighter is probably just bad so replace it...not sure about the stereo though as ive never heard of that happening or happen to me but then again ive never had a factory radio

If your check engine light is on, one of your sensors is bad (prob o2, but could also be an evap sensor. Or EGR vavle is bad since mustangs EGR's have carbon build up problems.) I would have seomone plug an OBD diagnostic computer in, but I don't think 94 mustangs have an OBD port. As for the radio, your battery or altenator might be going bad. The domelights probly just a short. And your seat moter prob just burnt out a long time ago.

94's are OBDII unlike many other cars which are OBDI till 96

the electrical gremilns sounds like it's an idiot that wired the stereo and used a bad ground and has the stereo power linked with other systems instead of using an extra accessory fuse location or just running it's own fused wire straight from the battery.

i'd lay $50 it's a bad ground. as far as the check engine light, if you just bought it some one may have erased the codes in it before you bought it which will re appear within weeks after they are erased or sooner.

misfire code or O2 sensor are most common followed by the EGR Evap soelonid. Autozone does free OBDII diagnostics. you can find out what the code is with them testing it

would you happen to know how to clear those codes?
if possible I would like to see if the stutter goes away.

yeah get a scantron diagnostics scanner or if you know someone that has one have them bring up the code and erase them. also you could slipa guy at autozone $5 to read the codes anderase them.

it's free to read them but they are not allowed to erase them. erasing them won't solve any issue. it will just turn the CEL off for littleawhile. the stutter won't go away just by erasing the codes
