i am going to get my windows tinter in the next month or so im gettin 25% all the way around i think it will look effin sweet but i have a few questions
1. will it effect my window defrosters ?
2.will i have to worry about it coming off on the rear quarter windows cuz of the large patch of heating element on the back edge of the glass?
3. what is the best glass cleaner to use on tinted windows?
i use armorall automotive glass cleaner right not and i have heard that some glass cleaner will ruin your tint and make it bubbel and turn purple

 

1) my tints to not effect my defrosters at all..everything defrosts perfectly
2) don't worry about any of the tints peeling off. as long as you dont get the cheap tints which are usually purple anyways and as long as you dont go to some cheapo place, than odds are the tints will stay on for a long long long long time
3) i have no idea about glass cleaner lol

2) Like HP said, only if they are craptacular tints should u worry.
3) Dont clean them for the first couple of weeks. When you do use either ordinary soap and water mix, or get tint safe cleaner which you can find and almost any autostore. Just make sure it says tint-safe.

 

If you go to a place that does tint they should tell you the rules, but for the first 3-5 days you cant roll down your windows (you have to let the air bubbles out and let the tint "dry" to the window. For the first 30 days you cant clean your windows (inside only ofcourse cause tint isnt on the outside). And like Horny said find a cleaner that says tint safe and you will be alright.

25% dont do 25%. Go lower to like 5%. I have 5% and i love it. I used to have 1% but, i cant have it on the military base.I would recommend going to 5%.

 

5% is way too dark and i got to be able to see out of them at night
