put your left foot on the break hard, with your right foot, bring the revs up to around 1200-1300 rpms, set off the break, when you get up to around 5200 rpms pull the shifter back into the "2" position hold that untill around 5400 rpms and push it back into drive

no, around 1500 is when the wheels start to slip, and the tranny is programed for it, its kinda like a built in shift kit, ive been doing it a bit for the last 25k cause ive heard to only do it at the track but i have had yet to have any problems

powerbreaking a stock auto does nothing but heat up the trans. the stock stall speed it too low to give any advantage over just mashing it off of idle.

once you are moving watch your rpms and just before the trans shifts from 1st to 2nd pull the shifter back from D into 2nd. this is a program in the EEC to provide more line pressure for faster firmer 1-2 shifts and alot of times you can bark the tires going into 2nd once you get it timed right. run 2nd to about 5000-5200 and pop it back into drive. this will give the best 1/4 times on a stock auto. it called the D-2 shift or D-2-D shift

completely correct. a stock 6er can benefit from a good shift kit like a transgo kit and a 2800-3000 stall converter.

i have a 2500 stall and it feels just like stock. a 2800+ is the best anything less and you are wasting money
