Mods: Cold Air Intake SS installed about2 months ago
I put seafoam in my car about 2-3 weeks ago, it didnt smoke, i did notice a bit better throttle response.
Car has always run fine and still is. I was city driving when I noticed the light was on. So I pulled over to check the car out esp. the engine. When I opened my door I could smell a faint smell of something. I'm not sure what it was. Maybe oil, maybe coolant, im not sure (ive smelt them before but a good whiff, this was too subtle and quick).
Anyways, I checked everything out under the hood and it seems fine. Exhaust isnt sputting anything out that isnt normal.
Allinall, the car is still running fine but my check engine light is on. Is there any common issue on 1997's or 94-98's for this problem.
I know it could be so many things and I cant get a code and i dont have autozone, we have CT and it'll cost us $70.
please help.
