ok so this may sound dumb so i apologize in advance....what year mustangs came in independent rear supension? i have a 2001v-6 convertible and im lookin to get a suspension package..help me out guys!! do i have IRS???

 

i believe 03-04 cobras only had them but i may be wrong

 

+1, only cobras came out with it. all others have a solid rear axle.

 

99,01,03, and 04 Cobras.

ok good now question number 21 im debatin on what suspension package to go with....ive heard a lot of good bout roush and eibach.... for everyday driving and the occasional track day....what should i go for? and how much do i need to get?

 

How much are you looking to lower it?

 

2 inches max..maybe like 1.5 in the front..

no no no i was stickly sayin the front...i want either 2 inches or 1.5 in the front n like either 1 inch or .8' for the back!
