Yeah it will probably start happenign again pretty soon.
Mine whines pretty bad, but I've kinda of gotten used to it.
I would recommened bringing it to a mechanic though unless you know what you are doing.

yeah i'm going to change the pump myself, just need to pull the pulley off, loosen some bolts, drain fluid, reverse the process
just didn't know if anyone had run into any particular problems while changing it
