A CAI is a waste of money. You'll get like 2 hp.

Just port the heads and intake. You'll get like 20-30 HP which is about 200 at the wheels. 200 rwhp is a good number if you don't want TOO much umph.

 

Well the system is for my wife.She likes that stuff.But she has this little thing going on with her friend.Its this mazda with a turbo I dont know what it is its a new mazda tho tiny little car and the turbo is stock on it.And she is complaning about how that little 4 banger is beating the stang.So ive got to figure out how to make this car FASTER than that mazda.Ive got SOME money but not like 5 grand to blow.I watched them race out on the track one day and that mazda cant by any means beat the stang off the start.BUT its like when the stang hits 3rd gear the mazda blows by it.I just dont know what to do to make it blow its doors off for a FAIR price.

 

do what xemeth said port th upper and lower intake i dont know how much it is but it aint 5 grand get a new throttle body, tune should take it find out what kind of mazada it is

 

The little tiny Mazda is the Miata.

 

i doubt porting the heads and intake are gonna give you 20-30hp. its probably more like 10-20 but it would still be a very nice increase

 

Yeah ive got to get it to the point of beating that car.

 

the girls bf (who has the mazda) he told he that mazda wont touch GT mustangs and what not.He said he doubted if it could beat that v6.but it does.And now ive got the task of making it faster.Thats the one thing my wife asked of me for her b-day.
