Default How good can a automatic v6 stang be?

I'm new at this forum and to the mustang world, because I've just given up on hondas.
So since I always loved mustangs I'm going to buy one very soon, I wanted to know how effective a 1994 to 2000 v6 automatic stang could be?
Also to mention the stang I have my eye on is priced at $2,500.

You're in for a bad time if you just gave up Hondas and are looking at single port automatics for "performance."

Its a 1995, automatic trans, 98,000 miles on the od, and the interior is nice. So does it have room for potential?

Firt things first, ask the seller if the head gaskets have been replaced yet or not. If not, youre prolly gonna want to change them since the 94s and 95s were notorious for having problems with them. And it does have some potential, but its gonna cost a decent amount depending on how much power you want.

put that 7 grand towards a 99-04 v6, or you can find some old gt's pretty cheap!

With that you could put on a procharger supercharger setup, exhaust, gears and an lsd. Thatd get you a good amount of power and it should be under 7 grand.
