do you really need hood pins?
i for one don't like them. when i bought my car it had hood pins on it and i ended up getting a new hood because of it.

hood pins arn't too safe with out the latchwhen you park somewhere cause all somebodys got to do is pull your pins. And they can be a aZZ and just f up your car it happened to a freind of mine.

hey v6stang, get rid of the latch and put just pins on.

i dont think they are too bad. i thought about gettin some a long time ago. i dont want to anymore but ive thought about it. in your case they will be functional by holding that corner down so i dont think it would be rice.

Hood pins were invented long before "rice" was anything other than a foodstuff.

I ran pins on my 1970 Cougar (had too when you hit 140+)... Old days we ran chrome since the car also had chrome... today you can powder coat to whatever you like. Someone will probably post a link to black ones soon.

Keep the catch (to keep your engine in) and the pins to keep your hood straight.

Unless you put stupid decals all over your car, it is still a Mustang, it will never look "rice"... just "nice".
