Default alignment ?

I just bought some eibachs and mac cc plates and was going to have them installed by a friend.
Another guy told me that regardless of who I get to install them, sooner or later I would have to take the car to a shop to get the front end aligned. Is this true, and would I be better off just taking the springs and plates to a shop to get installed?

You can still do it yourself to save the money on labor but then when you get it all done bring it to get aligned. An alignment is fairly cheap anyway.

There's a place near me that quotes me $39.99. I think it's a pretty good deal.

Just make sure they don't try to sell you a four wheel alignment.
