If you want the best sounding setup on your six, buy some Flowmaster 40's or Force muffles and have an exhaust shop weld straight pipes, without catalytic converters if your state doesn't check emissions (i.e. like Florida, however, California does).

If your state does check emissions, then buy a pair if high flow cats, and if they don't you will need a set of MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light) eliminators, which will trick the engine into thinking the cats are still there, which will prevent the check engine light from coming on and throwing crazy codes at your car.

Yeah but glassbacks are CHEAP Autozone had a special, two cherry bomb brand for $20. But they only sound good on some cars, When i bought mine and put them on my mustang i didnt like them, too noisy, but then again when i got my flowmaster it was abou tthe same i thought. Try it out, if you dont like it sell it to someone. It sounds great on my buddys stampeed

You get what you pay for...and not the sound from pressing the little red button in Autozone to hear what they sound like lol.

V6 with duals sound like a honda with a muffler cannon,

1 in 2 out, flowmaster 2 chamber (40 or 50 series) sound pretty good for a 6.

don't bother with glasspacks. get some force pro mufflers. same thing as flows but half the price. arguably one of the best sounding mufflers you can get for a v6 stang.

Thats if you dont get the proper set-up. It's like having an engine that pushes 500hp stock but your car has an open differential(one tire spinning correct?). You can just do it half-assed and expect the world, go all out and go headers and back upgraded.
