I hate to do it guys...yep another exhaust thread
Before you tell me to look at past threads, trust me, I have seen my fare share. But Ive never heard anything about Bassani, and they sell a cat-back system for a fairly reasonable price. No mid pipe, just true duals. (LINK)I was wondering what sort ofopinons are floating around there about Bassani.

No he has Borlas.
I've heard only a couple of Bassini clips, and it's been a while since, but to put it simply, they are mild sounding, not loud, not quite, just mild and mellow. In other words, imagine stock sound, X 2 for two mufflers, with a hair drop of deepness, that's about how they sound. Now their quality is top notch, right up there with Magnaflow and Borla. I have a Bassini O/R x pipe, with Magnaflow catbacks, and BBK Ceramic coated headers and love the sound, granted I have a 5.0, but I had the same setup on my sixer and it also sounded great. I probably should of went with and O/R H pipe on my sixer instead to have a little more loudness and deepness in the mid revs, but the x pipe holds better up top, so I guess it was a good trade off, but only X pipe for the 5.0, better for both sound and performance.
The idea about isn't a bad one, but Mac's quality worries me, so if there's nothing wrong with your stock headers, then DON'T SWAP THEM as Macs are almost guranteed to rust out on you.

Ok, so I did some research on this and it isnt a true dual set-up. Its one of those y-pipe to muffler and spits for a dual rear exit. So much for that idea.
Ive heard bassani on a v6, they sound pretty good almost sound like a gt but never heard them in person, only on a sound clip. but still i like my magnaflows they sound good, and give you some noticble power compared to stock mufflers of chambered mufflers. good luck .
