hey guys, I just found out my freaking parents won't let me get a v8 cause of insruance so guess im getting a v6.
Their are a couple of guys at my school with stock 5.0s and I was wondering what i need to at least keep with them and yes yes I know a lot of cash.
I was thinkin
full exhaust
cold air
3.73s and trulock in rear
tuner
oviously tires and rims
whats else you guys think?

depending on the 5.0s conditions that may be all u need.....but if they r well taken care ofand still run like they should u will need a lot more than that

solve all ur problems turbo or supercharger boost in general or run a wet kit

get slicks man... you'll be beating the 5.0's in take offsif they can't drive... The older year u get the lower your insurance will be... i had a 01 neon r/t and my current 89 5.0 and for the fox i paid $900 cheaper... the foxes have a hell of a lot of torque... get a 5.0 or a 351w and you'll be beating them left and right.. big engine into a 6 cylinder car insurance will never know :]

umm 99-04 with equal roof and tranny to a 5.0, I.E auto vert vs auto vert,

1.) open door
2._ sit in car
3.) close door
4.) start car
5.) line up
6.)try not to make him cry

if u have an auto i would go shift kit, but anyway i would do a tuner either way, pulleys

thew Fox's make about 250ftlbs of torque to the wheels at most. which is more than the 3.8 but not big torque by any means.

real smart advise dropping a V8 in a 6cyl car. the swap will cost at least $3000 just to put a stock crappy 5.0 in it when $4000 will get 300rwhp from a procharger on the 6.

also if you put a V8 in the car and don't tell your instrance company. it called insurance fraud and they will not cover your damages in an accident and will sue you to recoup the difference in the V6 to V8 premiums that legaly you should have been paying. or you will be convicted of fraud and go to jail.
