Default crazy engine swap idea

OK I just bought a v6 stang off a budy needing money for 2500. I do not need the car and was thinking about trying something crazy with it. I want to swap in a 351w out of a 86 f150 with a c6 4x4 tranny. Yes make a 4 wheel drive mustang. Money is not an issue here, doing something different is. Any thoughts?

If money is not an issue then buy a 4x4 vehicle.

What year is the 6?

If you wanna do it just to have done it..then do it. But unless you fabricate in carbon fiberyou'll probablyadd a ton of weight with that 4x4 system. I hope you can weld. It has been tried before, so you might wanna look that guy up and get some progress notes from him. No idea who it was though

+1, i know its been done before. and it will add a ton of weight but it would be cool. to compensate for the extra weight you should throw in a supercharger.

Yea, a heavy *** tank of a Mustang 4X4, if you want to see that car become even remotely fast you better lighten it wherever you can, and boost up the engine power. In my opintion, it's just flat *** out not worth the trouble.

I say go for it, especially if money's not an issue. Should be a fun project. Keep us updated if you do end up doing it.
