no one posted any thing about their 6 winning off of a red light in a while so i figure i would make one

i beat a Eagle talon TSi tonight at a stop light. his front bumper was at my side scoops and then i had to let off

i lost by 1 car to a pontiac Grandprix GTP from a roll i would have done better if i down shifted myself (i have a auto) or from a stop and when we got to the next stop light he said is it a gt and i said no it is a stock six and he said i was full of it and acted suprised that a stock six could hang with him so when i got home i looked up what gtp ment it is a 6 with a blower i was surprised i did that good

any one else have any wins or close races recently

 

My easiest kill has been a minivan and my toughest win was surprisingly against a mitsubishi eclipse, N/A. This surprised me because his front bumper was right next to my door and i couldnt shake him until about 85ish MPH, then i just walked him, and what really got me was the couple of turbo eclipse/talons I've run weren't hard races. I completely destroyed a '96 turbo/FWD Eclipse(dont know what they're called, I think TSi) from a 65mph roll.

^ That was my favorite win though. All of the slow DSM cars in Kuna thought he had one of the fastest cars in our town because it was faster than their high school turd piles, and then we were driving on the highway out of town. Three honks from me, on the third honk I floor right as he does, and I just start to pull away. From 65 to 90ish I had 2 1/2 cars on him before i had to slow down, so it would have only gotten worse, lol

Haven't lost yet, but also haven't really raced anything that fast...

I guess you could say me best kills were a new Civic Si an a Nissan Altima S-ER (bad launch).

 

I had one yesterday...it was a 2006 Pontiac grand prix GT...looked it up online and its got like 260 HP, but at the light I kept the RPMS about 1700 and since ive been to the track before i know how to launch decently, and from 0-85 his front bumper was at the back of my drivers door.

the fwd elipse turbo is called a mitsubishi eclipse gst and the awd model is the gsx

 

IMO i think you would stomp the crap out of him....my roomate has a 2000 S-10 and that thing is soooo slow. i wouldnt even waste the gas with it.. lol, well you could do it just for the bragging rights, if thats even really anything to brag about, mabye just add another car to your kill list.

 

True that I used to own one(GST). Something is seriously wrong if you're beating turbo DSMs with a stock/semi-stock V6. They're not too fast stock but they aren't that slow either.

Then again those cars are usually not running right. Also there are some bad drivers out there(looks at himself in the mirror)

 

i beat a v8 tundra the other day from a light....me and my girl just got in a fight and he pulled up next to me reving his engine so i let him kno my lil v6 was still faster than his heavy v8 let off around 65.....i beat a impreza on the highway a few weeks ago.....i was in cruze at 75 an i passed him with his fart cannon coming out the back an i just new he was guna goand of coursehe gunned it and i let him pass me then i blew by him at about 90ish
