I was talking about used 3 73s
i have no idea why someone would buy used gears. it is not a good idea in my mind
i have used 3.73s in my camaro with no problems, you really just have to look at the teeth, however, i would stay away from used posis

what about $100 for UDP's ...7HP
60 for CAI ...3HP
+350 for SCT ...8HP
$510 if you install it all yourself you might get 18HP if your lucky.

or you could $140 gears
70 bearing kit
12 gear oil and fric. mod.
220 tlok
+200 install
$642 and a nice jump off the line.

You ain't going to get much horsepower for $500 bucks. Horsepower means money. You might get one or two here for five to 10 there, but that ain't nothing. If you want real horsepower, you gotta spend real money. You could nitrous, but if you do that, you're still going to have to upgrade everything else to hold it and make it worth its while or else you'll just tear sh** up.
Put it in the bank and let it draw interest and drop one big lump sum into it.
And if you're wanting to go fast but on that limited of a budget, you're best bet is to that that $500 and put it in a V8 car. You'll spend twice as much trying to get V6 fast. I'm not saying it can't be done, because it can. Just expect to seriously come off the pocketbook.

well u dont need a CAI just remove the silencer its a free CAI
trust me it makes a differance and then get a knn filter and it will be even better

id say UDP, and Tuner and start saving for gears and LSD
or you could also do some suspension work to stiffen the frame SFC,controll arms, rear sway bar, springs it will take some time off of your 1/4 times im told

Does this man have a stick shift. Seriously, why buy a V6 if you want power. Drive it and have fun with it just the way it is. I bet you can get a ton of tickets leaving it stock.
