My hood has a lot of scratches and crap on it. I guess the previous owner didn't wash bugs off of it in a timely manner. For my birthday I could get a new hood or pay for half of wheels/tires. I've always been a fan of giant hoods, so these are the ones I'm looking at:

I'm thinking of going with a hood. For now I have the nice 5 spoke OEM wheels, which are basically the best stock wheels ever. My color is mineral grey, btw. Does anyone have any pictures of a mineral grey stang with either of those hoods, or similar?

 

The first one's too high and the second one just plain sucks. I'd go with a 3" cowl. Although, a hood with stock rims will look kind of dumb. I'd personally go rims first.

 

I would go with wheels and tires, just keep your stock hood and put a scoop on it.... itll be cheaper, I dont like hoods that are that dramatic anyways, wheels and tires FTMFW!!!

depends on the shop, my uncle owns a body shop and he showed me the invoice when I got my hood painted,$1,100+ tax!! I was like holy crap, luckily he only charged me $200,I know he does quality work because if you go in his shop all you ever see is ferraris, porsches and all these exotic cars,so it really depends on the shop, I'd say if you find a descent shop youll probably be looking at 300+ or -...

 

Wow, crap that was more than I was wanting to spend. The damn thing costs nearly 500 bucks shipped.

 

I dunno the only hood I would get would be the 03/04 cobra hood or the steeda cowl hood, the ones you picked look a little too hardcore like your car should have 1,000+ h.p. lol.... I say get a hood scoop and have it molded to your hood and paint it, itll look better than the ones your lookin at....
