Default air flow

i recently got a bbk style intake (fender mount) and it is working great but i have not been able to do a burn out yet. when i rev up the motor it acts like its bouncing of the rev limiter. i think it might bew that i have the stock single exhaust not letting enough air through. am i right or not guys?

You should still be able to spin the tire with no problem. You need the traction lock off (if you have it).

That has nothing to do with it. It's torque that makes your wheels spin from a dead stop. How are you doing the burnout? Are you auto or manual?

With a manual you should have no problem peeling out at all. You must be doing some thing wrong

Are you trying to kill your rear differential?
A burn out has nothing to do with the cold air intake.

In a 5 speed, you'll need to hit all three pedals with only two feet. Hold the clutch all the way down with your left foot. Usethe left side of yourright foot to hold the brake down. With the right edge of your right foot, push in the gas pedal. Slowly let out the clutch while pressing in on the gas...make sure to hold your brake firm.
Or the other way to do it, is build a motor that makes WAY too much torque, and then just hit the gas like so:
