well buddy ill be honest, that mach1 is about 310hp "if im not mistaken" thats 90+ hp off, to be honest its not even closely worth the amount of moneyit would take to just convert your car to itand as I think I dont think the engine will even fit in a 98 "could be wrong though." Ohh and as your friend 97 400+hp I hope he has a v8 and some major F/I thats pushing it on a 97 mustang.

ok, well ill be honest if hes a teen, his parents r retarded for giving him that big of a engine. but if u really want the car ill support it and so would everyone else here. But your money would be so much better spent on a N/A V8 or heck even F/I V8. 6k is alot of money and thats just a rough guesstament. Cause you would need a new rear end, suspension, hood + paint, motor mounts. and thats just all i can think of off the top of my head.
So I guess more like 10k imcluding buyin the engine. It would be kool to do it cause iv never heard of anyone putting a04 Mach1 into a 98. But your going to put more into the car then its even worth imo " not dissin ur car cause i dont know what u have or what it even looks like" just sayin 10k is alot of dough.

Why do you need more HP? You'll never reach 400 HP off any stock engine unless it's a 03/04 Cobra engine or new GT500 engine. And this swap is soo much more work than it's worth. Just buy a V8, at least you'll have a better starting number.

if he was a spoiled rich kid, he wouldn't be driving a 97 GT.
