Default warranty

Hey people remember if your car is under factory warranty, think about what will happen on some of the mods here when you do them. You may need that warranty and ouch they say a new cam or mods on the motor, no warranty now.

Obviously mods like changing cams would likely void the factory warranty on the engine, just like installing 4.10's would likely void the factory warranty on the rear axle. The grey zone would be something like, for instance, a transmission failure after installation of those mods...a case could be made that the cams or gears contributed to the failure. Many of the bolt-on mods however will not void the warranty, depending of course on the attitude of the dealerif warranty service becomes necessary.

Good point, if your not worried about tickets from the local cops. I guess the warranty is the last thing you are worring about.

I don't know you. By the way I am 55. I lost my license in 1970 for to many tickets. A big disappointment not driving for 6 months. I had a 66 Chevy nova with a 327 and just way to many horsepower. For me driving it was a challenge, just not to get on it. Top end in 2 blocks, how cool is that. I wish I had the car now because I could handle it and it would be worth a lot of cash. 4.11 positive traction with traction setup on it. In those days there just wasn't many cops around. It wasn't out of the picture to see blowers on cars driving it town. A fun time for me. But now to the future, I like my 97 Mustang and it will get tickets. So I have to watch it here in Michigan.
I have two new cars and I do respect the warranty on them. The gas price is crazy now too. If your lucky enough to have a nice Mustang and afford the insurance and gas for it, do you know where I am going.
Good luck and watch out for the cops. Find a drag racing place to test it out.
Have fun cruising around town too.

What were you driving doing 180? Or are you talking KMPH? Cause a V6 Mustang isn't going 180 mph.
