Default TRANSMISION QUESTION

I got my Mustang V6 from a girl who had it sitting for mor than one year. The engine run well but when I try it to run it. The car did not go then I check the transmition oil, and I notice that was very low, so I added some transmition oil (mercom). The car is been runnig well for the last nine month or so.
But I notice that every time I put on R or D, and I push the gas pedal there is a delay of about a second or two before the car star rolling.
So my question is. Is that normal or what do I need to do to fix this problem. I will appreciate all the help that I can get.
Thanks

Sorry, I just had to print this again.

Is there a Puddle of red oil under your car? Is your engine oil a couple gts over full (maybe of red oil)

Would you like to buy a GED?

Default RE: TRANSMISSION QUESTION

Take the car to a good transmission place and have them smell the trans fluid. Or you smell it and ask yourself if it smells burned. Not good if it smells burned. Has the transmission ever been serviced and a new filter and fluid put in it?
Id be getting that checked before you see the cost of $3000 in your future.
