The best motor would be one that comes with the rest of a car. If you don't catch that, I mean just get a GT. There is no easy V8 swap for the sixer, and swapping one in is very complicated.

You'd need new mounts, suspension, computer, wiring, tranny, and rear end. Basically a new car, lol. The car will also be down for quite a while. Like, at least a week if there are no problems.

With installation you're honestly better off just buying a GT. It's really gonna be a lot cheaper.

No, from insurence, and everything else i added it all up, and from local junkyards in DET its way cheaper then getting a GT. Thats with me doing it. But if your gona pay someone might as well just give them your car, thats where every garage makes all their money is the installation. For $1500 you can get a 2001 GT Engine, Tranny, and Rear end and other random parts the guy has. I dont know why everyone thinks it cost soo much to do it, and they will tell you, o well if you switch engines you will have to replace all the parts that get worn, like mounts. Well they should be done anyways. I say if you get a cheap price go for it man. Thats an 05 engine and 2500

lets see, the motor, motor mounts, computer, key chip thing, radiator, alternator, water pump, Ac compressor, tranny, mounts, kmember, driveshaft, rear end, exhaust, gt guage cluster, shifter, then you must notify your insurance company of a v8 and if not you will get nothing if it is totaled (not even the v6 value)

I have never heard about a car getting totaled and not getting anything in value, thats like saying if you modify anything you get nothing if you crash. Also How is it when i had my 89 and put the 5.0 in it i got 3,200 for it? Hell why didnt you include a started too? If you buy an engine, they usually have a alternator, and a water pump on them. Dunno what insurence company you got, but i suggest you switch

Not true, you will get the value of your stock v6.
