you wouldnt have to but it would be a good idea. that or get a detroit truetrak or some kind of lsd to make both wheels spin. if you want to be able to do it yourself the 8.8 is your best bet. if you dont mind payin anohter 300 or so to have a shop instal an lsd then go w/ it.

thanks for the help guys, so a TA performance rear girdle and stud kit would make my rear end stronger than the the whole 8.8 or just the girdle and the stud of the 8.8.
i am going to get the lsd and the gears done way before the boost for sure. would i also have to do some brace work on my car cuz its a convertible before i put on the supercharger?
