Side exit muffler have the inlet and out let of the muffler on the same end. I'm sure you could work a trade with the shop if you have new mufflers that haven't been installed. It might not be cheaper (I think you were thinking less pipe means less cost), but it would be a lot more unique and you'll hear it more when you drive. I love my side exit, and will never to anything but side exit on any of my Mustangs any more.

I am going with long tube headers and was thinking about taking the cats off.I know LTs will increase exhaust airflow and I will probably loose some low end torque.Where do LTs perform at their best.Really high speed or just the right power band?

With the planned mods, in addition to those you already have done, are you going to be using your car as a daily driver?

I`m gona be using it as a DD and run it at the track for weekends with the friends. I`m gona stop modifying the car after these mods below.

LT Headers
Torque Converter
Tires
Wet Shot(75 or a 100) I think it can handle 100 with good tune although thats kinda pushing it.

You'll see the increase mid way into the power band and get the most results up at the top end.

yes you can mount turbos anywhere as long as they are connected to the exhaust they make kits for 05+ stangs and the new corvetts that moung where mufflers should go but you will have to worry about running long *** oil lines, a oil pump to pump the oil back to the motor , worry about the conditions it is exposed to under car like possibly damaging turbo or braking oil lines and frying the turbo because of lack of oil and not to mention a **** load of pype to run boost back to manifold and Lag
