Engine rebuild
Alright so my miles are gettin up there (118k) and I wanna eventually run a supercharger so I thought an engine rebuild would be a good idea. Anyone know what it would cost if me and my dad did it?

That depends on how much the 2 of you can do and how much a machine shop will have to do but I'm guessing 4k - 5k

RE: Engine rebuild
are you talking about just an engine rebuild or you trying to forge it in the process?

Depends on how much power you're gonna run. But you might as well forge it while you're in there, anyway.

I'd go forged, but I like to be on the safe side. You don't need them, but I would.

Persoanlly I think any time you are going to boost an engine you should have forged parts.
