Default Wheels....

ok guys so I kind of have a dilemma... I switched out my FRONT brakes to a cobra kitabout a year ago got the big 13" rotors, dual piston calipers etc, and when I installed them I noticed that they were alot bigger and wider than my old braks (duh lol...) so I had to get 3/8 spacers for the wheels to fit and bla bla bla, anyways I just got back from americas tire and they told me that they cant work on my car anymore because it is a liability for them to work on my carcuz of the spacers, while I was there they were trying to convince me to get new wheels and they were tryin to sell me stock bullits lol.... so now it got me somewhat thinkin if I should change out my wheels or if I should just stick with the spacers is it really that much of a risk?... what do you guys think? let me know thanks in advance...

i wouldnt change the wheels, they look awsome on your car!!
stick with the spacers and find another shop or do ur own work, just look out for the spacers and make sure they are tight

ive heard of the wheel stud shearing or breaking off but ive never had it happen.. hub-centric spacers are supposed to be the better type of spacer but i think as long as your wheels stud are long enough.. iwould keep the wheels and spacers it looks pretty sick and i dontthink you will put it under enough stress to make a problemim sure that "A.T." is just covering theirtails but thats just my thought

To make sure the spacers are on your front wheels?

What is the size of your wheels.

I've heard of someone using spacers on the front to clear the brakes.
What is the offset of your rim?

i think its because they are 17's. dont remember who but i though somebody said if you upgrade the brakes to cobras or soemthing you would need 18" aftermarket wheels or 17 stockers.

Nope, 17" will clear the 13" SVT brakes. I run 17" on the track - theyare the 17" wheels off the '93 Cobra R.
What part were the wheels rubbing on prior to the spacer?
