Default gears

our stock gears are like 3.25, correct? anyway i was just thinking that people say gears dont add HP, but they have to add torque ? doesnt that make sense since you get a much better acceleration with gears which technically in the end means its faster with more power and torque

i feel like if you get 4.10s you are doing the same as making your car more powerful, idk im just bored and thinking, feel free to post

Our stock gear ratio (for the most part) is 3.27. Changing them does nothing when it comes to actually adding horse power or torque. What they will do is allow your car to accelerate higher into the rpm range quicker....which results in getting into the powerband quicker. The sooner you get into the powernband, the sooner you feel the power.

No because you can still get to the cars governed top speed as you could with stock gearing, your rpm's will just be a lot higher
