gears.. i know i know
Using the bottle of course, but I may change my mind early and get the S/C, but in any since, the tranny is next. I have the money now, just doing some last minute research and planning to make sure this all goes smoothly. I"SHOULD" and I mean should have the new tranny installed by May, because I don't know how long it's gonna take to come in, I'm probably gonna order by Friday of this week because I'm stoping at a shop on Thursday for a last minute inspection to make 100% sure it is the tranny that needs to be replaced.
Shoot, I don't know what's exactly is wrong with mine, all I know is that when I hit 75 MPH the shifter starts to shake quickly and violently, then a grinding noise starts comming from under the car, and the faster I go the worse it gets, I don't dare go past 90, it gets really bad.

It's hard to tell if it does it through all gears, but it's noticible in high 3rd, 4th, and very noticible in 5th.
At first we thought it was the U joints, so when I was at work one day my dad swaped out the stock U joints with high performance joints, and yes they were loose. That fixed the problem down low, but it still persist up top.
A few people have suggested it being either a bad shaft inside the tranny, or a bad output shaft.
I thought it could of been the rear end, but I had remembered that just after I bought my car I had the whole thing inspected (including the rear end) and the only thing bad back there was a small leak in the seal, the shop said the rear end was otherwise fine.

thanks for all the replies guys. i'm thinkin i might settle in the middle and go with 3.45's then. I knew there was something inbetween 3.23 and 3.73 for our rear ends just couldnt remember.
I'm also not sure what kinda hp/tq im at now however it is being tuned by lasota racing right now. i should have it back tomorrow or friday. I was contemplating having them dyno it to get some numbers while we were at it, howeverwhen i spoke with don he said theredyno is down because its in the process of being replaced with a newer better onei guess.
