how many speakers come stock in a mustang is it 4 or ar there six.
i need to no cause im replacing it all with pioneer and cardomain says there might be a side speaker but don't see 1. plz help

 

with the reg system or the mach 460?
reg has 4, one in each door and 2 under the rear window

mach has one in each door then a tweeter above the door on the panel that covers the mirror mount, then 2 in the back just like reg but there are also 2 tweeters in the back.if you have the mach 460 you will need to rewire the system completely. its actually pretty easy though

 

The stock mach 460 are 6 by 8 thats what they told me

 

that is correct, the speakers are 6x8 and the tweeters are 2.5"

 

mach 460 has 8, and is a b!tch, and yes, needs to be re wired

the el.-cheapo one has 4

 

you don't need rear speakers. and pioneer speakers suck unless they are the premier components.

don't waste your money on rear speakers. get a nice set of components for the front and call it a day. get a nice 2channel amp to power them and then one nice sub and a sub amp for that.

 

haha i have upgraded the system to 4 door speakers, q-logic kick panel 2 in each side,6 in back deck 2 6x9's and 2 6x8's and 2 tweeters, and then adding guage pods with tweeters. along with 2 power acoustic comp subs facing inward. overdoing it i dont think so.
