I have straight borlas exhaust. A friend that has a muffler shop said that borlas are good but they are a lil better than magnaflows, but it costs more cause of the "name". Flowmasters are way better and are louder than both of them. If I want he can change them. Is this true? Should I change them?

I say yes if you want a deeper, louder sound, but if you don't care then keep the ones you got, because they are some of the best mufflers around.

the original 40's are louder but dude u got BORLA'S the only reason i dont is cause of the money
i dunno, i would prob keep the borlas but the flows are a lil louder from what i hear, and mine are loud and i love em but its your choice

 

I would keep the Borlas myself. To me the flows sound too ricey in the higher rpm's.

I had magnaflows before and they sound better and louder than my friend that had flows. I still think my borlas sound better, but I havent seen him so I cant compare them.
I think if you dont wanna go for borlas cause of the price magnaflows are better.
Magnaflows for 6ers and flowmasters for 8s
