I'm gonna install an Screamin' Demon coil, msd superconductor 8.5mm wires, or should i go with the 9mm livewires? i am also wondering which spark plugs to get and should i space them at .65" like it says?

ive heard good things about ngk iridium spark plugs

 

ya heard is what im scared about.

 

nah, my friend has a mitsubishi eclipse with the iridium spark plugs and apparently they last forever and theyre hella expensive

 

Delco R44LTS6 coppers are nice and cheap. gap them at .045"-.060" and forget about them for 40,000 miles

 

I've got NGK TR-6 and came gapped at .35

with screamn' demon coil pack and live wires

 

.350" is huge. you mean .035" which is too small especially with the screamin demon coil. .055" or .065" with that coil is approiate with iridiums

Denso IT 20's are great for the V6 also but not needed over coppers like Delco R44LTS6's

no. gap them at .055" but be carefull to not bend the small iridium center electrode

 

I've actually got the Screamin' Demon on my 99 3.8 with Iridiums gaped at .060 with the livewiresIt's super hard to get it there. I broke two plugs doing it. But besides that,it's great. It didn't give me as much acceleration as I'd like but of course, it can only do so much.
