Default Twin Turbo..

ok after a bit of a set back im back in the race to twin turbo my stang money is a little tight right now but ill do the best I can... i've been looking around for just the turbos for now and came across these im skeptical because of the price but they look like decent units what do you guys think??
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=120106655505
Im talking to an old friend who sayed he could doany pipe work for me all the bending and what not...im not looking to upgrade the fuel system... YET
also I wasnt thinking about spray too...do you guys think it would work to tap a dry nitrous line into a intercooler?? or where is the most ideal place?? (I am planning on 4.3 stroker with forged internals soI dont need the waah thats to much power for stock story)
Last but not least im gunna get some custom badges cause they add like 80 horsepower!! (sorry I couldnt resist)

the fuel system would be the first thing i would do if i was going to run TT's. 4.4psi out of 2 turbos is a stright up waste.
that is a really cheap price for 2 turbos, i would take a really good look at them when you get them if you do.

Personally, I think t3 and T4 turbos are dumb. All that piping and everything for 5 psi??

If you want twin, the go ahead, but if you want boost, you can get much more from a single set up with a bigger turbo.

yeah mine is in the garage and we just finished up the gears, true trac, and aluminum driveshaft on friday and we started the turbos, i am in no rush because we just got snowed on yesterday and we are supposed to get more this week.

but it all depends on what you want fast spooling or big power i wanted fast spooling so i got the garrett gt2871rs but if you want big power you can go with the gt30rs

I want to upgrade the internals first before the fuel system no sence on putting in 42lb+ injectors ifI cant use them...

Those are garbage, they either don't work, or they're made so porly that the first time you give it full boost, it will explode and send fragements into your intake. Not to mention the amount of money you'll have to spend to have all the piping fabed, and probably a new set of headers.

The only turbos that are really worth anything for Mustangs are turbos made by turbonettics.

To be frank with you I'd pass on the turbo and just invest in a supercharger. They're cheaper, and easier to install. Granted, they don't make as much power as Turbos, but they get the job done for people on budgets and not on the track everyday.
