Default Neons in the interior

[align=left]I believe someone was putting neons on the inside under their dash to light up the floors. I was wondering if they did this or has anyone else. What they used, how they did it, pics? I want to do this.

OK, well if your going to do this, dont do it high like i did, because it wont turn out exactly how oyu want it. lol, but i did ok under certain conditions. All these pictures are before i tucked wires and all away. I connected it to the cigarette lighter so it always got power so they could be on when we box the car and stuff.

Well, frst off i pulled up the boot and stripped the wires. I had a red wire and a red/black wire. I attached the red/black to the black wire which led to the cigarette lighter, and the red to the blue/white. Like so, even though you cant see it in the picture: http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/3...ture002mj1.jpg

For the driver side, i put one below the seat adjustment controls like this: http://img129.imageshack.us/img129/9...ture005vx8.jpg

And the second i put under the steering wheel. Its hard to see in the picture, but kinda like ontop of it on the inside. I dont know how else to explain. In the picture you see two grey box shapes in the top left above the pedals, the one on the right is the left end of the stick. : http://img443.imageshack.us/my.php?image=picturehq9.jpg

For the passenger side, i ran the leds through the middle where the ac for the legs is. I put one under the seat here: http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/4...ture009fr8.jpg
And the other up against the wall, hard to see here: http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/9...ture011uc0.jpg

And heres the controll box: http://img387.imageshack.us/img387/9...ture006wq0.jpg

IM getting 4 more and putting 2 more under each seat to light up the back. I know i did a ****ty job, but hey, its out of sight and works.

Oh and im hiding the control box because it came with a wireless remote that works 100 feet away

+1 when neons used for purposeful interior lighting in a conservative manner, it can be beef, not rice
