will a ebay cai for a 3.8 fit a 3.9, and also do they usually come with instructions? your help is greatly appreciated, thank you

 

yes it will fit, no they dont usually have instructions. some do but a lot dont. its really easy though. look at the tech and how tos at the top of the 6er section and find the cai install. its very easy

 

cool, pretty sure i can figure it out, by any chance did u use a k & n air filter with the intake or did use the one that came wit it?

 

im still usein the one that came w/ it. it seems to work great. i got a bomz racing intake. a few people on her have em and they are all happy.

 

depends, if the k and n filter is a cone filter that fits, you can use it, but if its not, then it doesnt work. You use the one that comes with the ebay intake.

 

the k&n may flow a lil better but chances are the stock filter size wont fit the cai, it would b worth the investment to put a k&n if u can get one that fits, they have cai's on ebay with a k&n filter already and they arent made my k&n

 

Some of the ebay intakes come with a K & N (brown) filter and some come with a Holley (blue). They all flow about the same and are reusable.

 

i didnt know that the other came with a holley filter, i just thought it was some random cotton filter
yea either is fine then but i would get the one with the k&n just over preference

 

Yep it sure does. I don't know who makes the green one though.
