alright i what to get a procharger but i also want to get thenew cams just need to know the type and anyother info and this is for a 2000

 

you have one cam, we have pushrod engines w/ one cam in the middle of the engine. you should call or email supersixmotorsports, compcams, or rpm-mustangs. they will all be able to tell you exactly what you need for the type of drive you want.

btw if you didn't know you only have one cam, good luck saving up enough to buy all the parts and then bending over again to get them installed.

 

wow ye of little faith its not like i dont have any money i work 2 jobs and am saving like crazy, but to answer the other post im more going with show but i would like to do performance before anything and would like the mustang to ride like a mustang ya know

as for performance a new procharger is > 3000 cash dollars. install will be a lot. a cam is around $300, again if you don't know what you are doing install will probably be around 1500-2000 dollars. if you are going to spend that kind of money on install you might as well spring another $2500 get a stage 2+ or stage 3 power pak from supersixmotorsports.com because the install would likely be the same. that is a lot of money, for that kind of money you should probably invest in a GT. the fun for me in modding my V6 is that I'm doing the work myself and making a car i love more fun to drive.

 

Or just have good connections and have people help you with the install. The advantage we have (04 and back V6s, and 5.0s) is that we have pushrod engines, which are fairly straight forward to work on, you just have to have somebody in the know incase you hit a problem.

Also, why can't a car be both show and performance? Mine will be (and I'm off to a good start), Ericks is, as well as many other people on here.

 

i wasn't saying that it can't be both, he merely stated in the post that he is going more for show, then he said he was going for performance, to me that was contradictory. if he is going more for show then that's great do that, if he's going for performance then just do that, if he wants both then thats great, but it seems to me he's not sure what he wants. so my advice is to make up his mind and setup a plan of what he wants to accomplish. posting about getting cams and a supercharger and then saying he only wants show tells me he doesn't know wtf he wants
