Problem starting
Wouldnt you know it, just had my car checked front to back, up and down, and even had a brand new Diehard Gold battery put in and tonight myu damn car wouldnt start[:@]!! I parked for about three minutes came back to my car, turned the key and nothing!! Waited a few minutes and still wouldnt start. Got out looked at the battery connectinos and they are all solid, tried again and nothing, it didnt even try to kick over. I have noticed that the battery reading when the car is running is a little high but didnt think anything about it. Came back 10 minutes later and the damn thing started right up! Ran it for a few minutes turned it off, and it did the same thing, wouldnt start! What could be the problem? Alternator? Battery cables? I dont need this right now[:'(]!! Please help!!
Matt
Sounds like a starterSolenoid , Make sure the wires are tight on it. It's where the positive cable goes from the battery.
Two types of Solenoids that I know off. One mounted on the inner fender and one starter mounted.
Which ever you have just make sure the connections are tight.
Pictures of the two.
